Responsibilities:

·         To ensure the equipment in good state of repair through effective preventive maintenance

·         To reduce operating expenditures through control of overtime and optimize machine performance

·         To ensure constant supply of steam, compressed air, water and electricity

·         To plan and implement new equipment or system for better plant performance

·         To control the engineering inventory by planning purchases of engineering spares, stock checking etc

·         To ensure good maintenance programme to enable good quality products, responsible for maintenance scheduling and planning

·         To upgrade, develop and install new/old equipment for the purpose of expansion programs of the company to increase production output

·         To provide technical support to the day to day operations in plant

Requirements:

·         Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

·         Good knowledge in production process

·         Ability to work independently with high degree of commitment to ensure the production meets planned schedules, quality standards and within cost budgets
