Halal Policy

All our products are Halal certified by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) and other relevant authorised Islamic certification bodies in accordance with the Halalan Toyyiban standards and the Islamic Syariah Law requirements.

An internal Halal Committee is set up in each of our manufacturing plants and is held responsible for all matters pertaining to Halal compliance in our supply chain, from materials selection, purchasing, raw materials receiving, manufacturing facilities and personnel directly involved in production processes, to the storage, warehousing, and transportation of our products.

Product Halal certifications are achieved by conforming with Halal audit requirements by JAKIM and other relevant Islamic certification authorities, as well as adherence to Good Halal Manufacturing Practices.

Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) is implemented to maintain and ensure sustainability of Halal production processes according to JAKIM Halal requirements and standards.

All our Manufacturing facilities have received accredited certification i.e ISO 22000, ISO/TS22002-1, HACCP, GMP and MeSTI.

We are fully committed to meet the Halal standards and requirements through continuous strengthening of employee’s Halal awareness and understanding with the following initiatives:

  • Regular Halal Awareness training program
  • Regular training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)
  • Non-Halal Foods / Drinks are strictly prohibited within factory premises including the office and canteen.
