Ingredients

Marination

Whole garlic

1 no

Red onion

2 inch

Ginger

2 nos

Lemongrass

1 tsp

Whole coriander seed

1/2 tsp

Cumin powder

8 nos

Dried chilli, soaked in water

1 cup

Sugar

1 tbsp

Salt

Boneless chicken thigh

1 tin

CARNATION®Evaporated Creamer

Sauce
1/4 cup

Rice flour

1 tbsp

Asam paste

300ml

Water

Instruction

Step 1

Blend garlic, red onion, ginger, lemongrass, coriander seed, cumin powder, dried chilli.

Step 2

Mix all the blended ingredients, chicken, sugar and salt in a big bowl. Marinate it overnight.

Step 3

Lay the marinated chicken on to a baking rack. Bake for 20 mins in a preheated oven at 200°C.

Step 4

Transfer the marination to a saucepan, bring it to a boil and add in rice flour, water and asam paste. Turn off the heat once thickened.

Step 5

Split the chicken in half. Place a slice of chicken inside each burger bun and top with your choice of accompaniments.
