Banana & Peach Crumble with Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients

Crumble
150g

All-purpose flour

100g

Butter, cubed

2 tbsp

Brown sugar

Filling
2 nos

Banana, sliced

3 nos

Peaches, sliced

3 tbsp

Brown sugar

1/4 cup

IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk

1/4 tsp

Cinnamon powder

Vanilla sauce
1 no

Egg yolk

1 tsp

Cornflour

2 tbsp

Sugar

1 cup

IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk

1/2 tsp

Vanilla essence

Instruction

Step 1

To prepare the crumble, mix butter into flour and brown sugar until mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Set aside in the chiller.

Step 2

To prepare the filling, combine banana, peach, brown sugar and cinnamon powder. Transfer to a baking dish and pour in IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk.

Step 3

Add the crumble on the top and bake in preheated oven at 180° for 30 mins.

Step 4

To prepare the vanilla sauce, bring IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk to simmer in a pot.

Step 5

Beat egg yolk, cornflour and sugar in a bowl.

Step 6

Slowly pour in the IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk while stirring then pour the egg mixture back to pot and continue to cook until the sauce thicken.

Step 7

Serve the banana and peach crumble with some vanilla sauce.
