Polenta Cake with Rose Cream

Ingredients

Butter

200g

Caster sugar

180g

Ground almonds

150g

Fine polenta

1 tsp

Baking powder

1/4 cup

IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk

Eggs

Lemon juice & zest

Rose cream
1/2 cup

IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk

2 tbsp

Sugar

3 tbsp

Rose water

Instruction

Step 1

Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy in a mixer. Add in eggs, lemon juice and IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk. Mix well.

Step 2

Mix ground almonds, polenta and baking powder. Add the mixture bit by bit while mixing. Lastly, fold in lemon zest.

Step 3

Line a baking tin with parchment paper and pour the batter into it. Bake for 40 mins in a preheated oven that’s set to 180°C. Set aside to cool.

Step 4

To prepare rose cream, combine all ingredients and bring to simmer.

Step 5

Drizzle some rose cream on a slide of polenta cake and serve.
