A colourful local dessert to warm the tummy.
Glutinous rice flour
Palm sugar, grated
Pandan leaf, tied into a knot
IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk
To prepare glutinous rice balls, mix the flour with water. Add in the water a little at a time until the mixture takes on a doughy texture. Portion the dough into 3 parts for colouring.
Roll the dough into little balls and make a dimple on the centre of each ball with your finger.
Boil the glutinous rice balls in the hot water and ladle them out when cooked.
To prepare sauce, cook palm sugar in the water until it melts. Add in IDEAL® Full Cream Evaporated Milk with pandan leaf and bring to a boil.
Serve the glutinous rice balls with the sauce.
