F&NHB Welcomes Raja Muda Selangor to Award-Winning F&N Dairies Manufacturing Plant
F&N Dairies Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Pulau Indah Showcases Smart Manufacturing Excellence During High-Level Official Visit
Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB) today hosted an official visit by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda of Selangor to its F&N Dairies Manufacturing Plant in Pulau Indah. The visit was also graced by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Amirudin Bin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor, together with senior state government officials and representatives. The visit underscored F&NHB’s continued commitment towards advancing smart manufacturing, innovation and sustainable industrial development in Malaysia, in line with the Selangor State Government’s vision for economic growth and industrial excellence.
The visit was held under the Invest Selangor Royal Patron Programme with Industry 2026 a strategic initiative that provides a platform for His Highness to engage directly with key industry players and investors, strengthening collaboration and gaining insights into industry developments and challenges. Commenting on the significance of the programme, YBhg. Dato’ Hasan Azhari Idris, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Berhad said, “These engagements are important in ensuring Selangor remains responsive to the evolving needs of industry, enabling the state to strengthen its competitiveness, attract quality investments and support sustainable economic growth.”

During the visit, F&NHB Chairman Y.A.M. Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail and members of the F&NHB management team led the delegation on a tour of the facility, including the site of the tree planted by his father, His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, during the official opening of the plant on 2 October 2013. Thriving to this day, the tree stands as a lasting symbol of the enduring relationship between F&NHB and the Royal Family of Selangor.
His Highness Raja Muda of Selangor toured F&NHB’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, including the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS), a fully automated warehouse that serves as the central storage hub for raw materials and finished products. The visit also covered the dairy processing and milk production facilities, filling and packaging lines, and the plant’s distinctive can-manufacturing facility, where cans are produced directly from tin sheets.
As one of the largest canned milk producers in the world, the Pulau Indah facility plays a strategic role in F&NHB’s manufacturing network. Producing approximately 500 million cans annually, the facility supports both domestic and international markets, serving households nationwide. The tour offered His Highness an insight into F&NHB’s advanced manufacturing technologies, innovation capabilities and contribution to Malaysia’s position as a regional manufacturing and export hub.

In May 2026, F&N Dairies Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Pulau Indah and F&N Beverages Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam were recognised with the GOLD Category Award under the Smart Factory Excellence and Recognition (SFERE) Programme by MITI and SIRIM Berhad, introduced under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030). The recognitions reflect F&NHB’s continuous commitment to advanced manufacturing, automation and operational excellence in strengthening Malaysia’s industrial competitiveness.
Located within the Selangor Halal Hub, F&N Dairies Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Pulau Indah serves as a key production hub for both the Malaysian and export markets, manufacturing a wide range of dairy and beverage products, including sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, creamer, and juices. It produces several well-known brands such as F&N Magnolia, F&N Canned Milk, Gold Coin, TEAPOT, Farmhouse, F&N Fruit Tree, Sunkist and NutriWell.
Sustainability is embedded throughout the facility’s operations, reflecting F&N’s commitment to responsible growth. The plant incorporates energy-efficient technologies and responsible water management practices, while solar rooftop panels contribute to reducing carbon emissions and supporting the company’s environmental goals.
