F&NHB Commemorates 60 Years of Growth, Trust and Partnership in East Malaysia
Milestone anniversary campaign celebrates heritage, empowers communities and creates lasting value for generations to come
Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&NHB) is marking 60 years in East Malaysia with a year-long celebration that reflects on six decades of growth and enduring partnerships with the communities of Sabah and Sarawak since 1966. Guided by its “Celebrating with Purpose” campaign, the milestone will be marked through a series of consumer, community and sustainability initiatives that celebrate East Malaysia’s rich heritage while reinforcing F&NHB’s commitment to social progress, environmental stewardship and shared prosperity for future generations.
A key highlight of the anniversary celebrations is F&NHB’s first-ever collaboration as the exclusive non-alcoholic beverage partner at the 29th Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2026, taking place from 26 to 28 June at the Sarawak Cultural Village in Kuching.
F&NHB will bring together brands including BORNEO SPRINGS, 100PLUS and F&N carbonated soft drinks through a series of immersive experiences designed to complement the festival atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy product sampling, hydration stations, a mocktail bar, interactive workshops and a beverage carton recycling initiative that promotes responsible waste management. These initiatives not only celebrate the spirit and culture of East Malaysia but also reflect F&NHB’s longstanding commitment to sustainability while paying tribute to six decades of shared experiences, trust and enduring connections between F&NHB and the communities of Sabah and Sarawak.
As part of the celebrations, F&NHB is rewarding consumers in Sabah and Sarawak through an exclusive contest running from 22 April to 30 June 2026. With every RM10 spent on participating F&N products, consumers stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including two Perodua Bezza 1.0 G (Automatic) cars—one each for a winner from Sabah and Sarawak—as well as tickets to the renowned Rainforest World Music Festival, offering winners the opportunity to experience one of the region’s most iconic cultural events.

To commemorate its 60th anniversary, F&NHB introduced special limited-edition packaging across selected brands, featuring sleeves inspired by the distinctive culture and natural landscapes of Sabah and Sarawak. The designs incorporate iconic elements such as traditional ethnic attire, the Rafflesia flower and the hornbill, symbolising the region’s diversity, traditions and unique identity. The commemorative packaging pays tribute to six decades of shared growth, trust and partnership, while reaffirming the Group’s commitment to supporting the continued prosperity of East Malaysia.
Beyond the celebrations, F&NHB is investing in initiatives that create lasting value for communities and the environment across Sabah and Sarawak. In conjunction with its 60th anniversary in East Malaysia, F&NHB has committed RM600,000 to eight environmental and community programmes across Sabah and Sarawak. Focused on environmental conservation, water stewardship and community wellbeing, these efforts reflect the Group’s dedication to creating positive and lasting impact beyond its business operations.

Among the supported programmes is Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu’s Hari Landskap KK 2026, where F&NHB contributed 1,000 mangrove seedlings for a restoration initiative, alongside product sponsorship and community engagement activities. Other initiatives in Sabah include the revitalisation of Taman Botani Tun Fuad Stephens, mangrove restoration at Darau Wetlands, and Gravity Water Project for Sekolah Kebangsaan Narinang in Kota Belud, implemented in collaboration with Hopes Malaysia to improve access to clean and reliable water for rural communities. In Sarawak, F&NHB is partnering with Safewater Asia on a community water access programme, further reinforcing the Group’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship and resilient communities across East Malaysia.
“This 60th anniversary is more than a celebration of our past, it is a reaffirmation of our commitment to the future. Guided by our purpose of Pure Enjoyment, Pure Goodness, we will continue to strengthen our partnerships, support local communities and contribute to the sustainable growth of Sabah and Sarawak. We are honoured to have been a part of the lives of East Malaysians for six decades and look forward to creating a meaningful impact for generations to come,” said YAM Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail, Chairman of F&NHB.
F&NHB’s journey in East Malaysia began in November 1966 with the establishment of its first soft drinks manufacturing plant in Sarawak. Over the past six decades, the Group has grown alongside the region, expanding its manufacturing capabilities, distribution network and portfolio of trusted brands to serve generations of consumers across Sabah and Sarawak. F&NHB currently operates four manufacturing facilities in East Malaysia – two in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and two in Sarawak, namely Kuching and Matang.

Lau Cheng Yew, Managing Director, Domestic Commercial Operation (Malaysia), added, “East Malaysia has been an important part of our success story. Beyond our business operations, we remain dedicated to supporting local employment, strengthening partnerships and contributing to the socioeconomic development of the communities we serve. This milestone is a celebration of the trust and support we have received from consumers, business partners and communities over the past 60 years.“
As we look ahead, we remain focused on creating shared value through investments, partnerships and initiatives that contribute to a vibrant and sustainable future for East Malaysia,” said Lau.
