F&NHB Spreads Festive Ramadan Cheer Through Nationwide Initiatives

A key highlight was a heartwarming buka puasa dinner on 20 March, hosted by F&NHB Chairman Y.A.M. Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail, F&NHB Chief Executive Officer Lim Yew Hoe, F&NHB board member Pn. Aida binti Md Daud, and team members of the F&NHB. The event gathered 76 children from Pertubuhan Rumah Anak Yatim Miskin Daerah Kuala Langat and Rumah Baitul Sakinah As-Shariff in Port Klang, offering them not just a hearty buka puasa feast, but also new baju raya, duit raya and F&N products. In addition, the children had the opportunity to invoke their creativity and interact with F&N volunteers through craft activities.
“Ramadan is a sacred time to reflect and honour the values that shape our community,” said Y.A.M. Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail, Chairman of F&NHB. “At F&N, we have long ebranced the tradition of sharing the blessings of this holy month, and creating meaningful moments, especially for the younger generation and those in need. Their joy is a reminder of what truly matters during this blessed season.”
Throughout the holy month, F&NHB collaborated with various industry players and government agencies by distributing food and beverages to homes for the underprivileged, residents at People’s Housing Programme (PPR) and even healthcare workers.
These initiatives, driven by a desire to connect and share, saw F&NHB partnering with Bursa Malaysia for the heartwarming “Rewang Ramadan” programme at PPR Cochrane Perkasa in Kuala Lumpur. In collaboration with Bursa Malaysia’s team, F&NHB members came together to pack and distribute 2,200 goodie bags comprising F&N products and Bubur Lambuk to support local residents.
The general public was not forgotten as 30,000 cans of F&N beverages were distributed to highway users at key toll plazas, including Gombak, LATAR, LEKAS, BESRAYA, and WCE, while 50,000 bottles of 100PLUS Active, together with packets of bubur lambuk, were distributed to shoppers across 22 Mydin outlets across Malaysia.
Collaborations with retail partners such as Lotus’s, Mydin, and Gardenia extended the festive spirit through giveaways, notably the ‘Cahaya Ramadan’ programme, which saw Magnolia beverages paired with Gardenia bread distributed at 20 mosques across Peninsular Malaysia. Additionally, through a collaboration with the National Sports Council of Malaysia (MSN) and Yayasan Kebajikan Atlet Kebangsaan (YAKEB), F&NHB celebrated the festive season with sports fans and athletes, providing duit raya and F&N products to former athletes and para-athletes.
Beyond the events held in the Klang Valley, F&NHB’s commitment resonated throughout the nation, with regional offices extending support and festive contributions to communities in locations such as Butterworth, Ipoh, Mersing, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching.
Lim Yew Hoe, CEO of F&NHB remarked, “At F&NHB, nourishment goes beyond the physical. We also hope to nourish the spirit by extending care, connection and kindness in the communities we serve. Ramadan offers a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our bonds with Malaysians by sharing in the joy of the season and honouring the traditions that bring us together.”
F&NHB remains committed to building a caring and inclusive society, guided by the values of compassion, togetherness, and shared purpose. With Ramadan drawing to a close, the Group is proud to have played a role in uplifting communities and spreading festive joy across the nation. F&NHB will continue to explore meaningful ways to make a lasting, positive difference in the lives of Malaysians during Ramadan and beyond, while staying true to its promise of delivering pure enjoyment, pure goodness, and lasting connections.
