We are delighted to have the continued collaboration and support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports for OneSilat Championships. This year, we are proud to introduce 2 new sponsors to the ONESILAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016 – Energy Drink Sponsor RANGER and Equipment Sponsor VENUM.
RANGER is a new energy drink in the market. With its involvement in ONESILAT as the Official Energy Drink Sponsor, Ranger is confident of meeting the energy needs of the fighters to perform at their peak in the arena. The reason why RANGER sponsor ONESILAT is not only to support a local heritage and tradition, it allows us to discover birth of many more local sporting heroes and in turn inspire the young to take up sports in general and silat in particular. RANGER believes in the vision of building strong local heroes.
RANGER brand itself is represented by a tiger as a symbol of strength, ferocity and also agility that resonates well with the fighting spirit of the Silat fighters, or even any local heroes.
With that vision in mind, RANGER is not only sponsoring the OneSilat event, but RANGER is also supporting the birth of upcoming local fighters or heroes such as Naimul Amal and Eddey Kalai. These fighters mentioned depicts the persona of true strength in mind, body and soul. A strong fighting spirit to the core! RANGER aims to give the fighters that needed energy before and after each and every one of their demanding fights or training sessions, to stay strong throughout the day.
Whereas the Official Equipment Sponsor, VENUM – a world-renowned fight sports equipment provider, has agreed to support ONESILAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS with their fighting equipment requirements for the rest of this year.
OneSilat has grown from strength to strength. Our aim is not only to introduce to the world the fighting prowess of silat, but to familiarise the wider community of silat’s philosophy in general and OneSilat philosophy in particular. To this aim, we have achieved some success in a short span of time, especially in view that we have proudly breached well over 100,000 Facebook Likes on 1 August 2016. OneSilat Facebook is currently the largest silat competition community in the world.
ONESILAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016 offers free admission for its spectators. The competition will start at 10am to 3pm (Stage 1) and will recommence at 8pm to 11pm (Stage 2) on Saturday, 20 August 2016 at the Nicol David Arena, National Squash Centre, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
