Public Policy

F&N is an apolitical company, and does not contribute in any way to any political party or activity. However, we are an active member of various trade associations such as Federation of Malaysians Manufacturers, Thai Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Thai Industry, Thai Dairy Industry Association, Thai Soybean Foods Trade Association and Thai Metal Packaging Association.

We are also a founding member of Malaysia Recycling Alliance (MAREA), which seeks to enable companies to improve the collection and recycling of post-consumer packaging. In addition, F&NHB is also a member of the CEO Action Network (CAN), an informal network of CEOs and Board members focused on sustainability advocacy, capacity building, action and performance. The coalition promotes peer sharing on important topics, with F&NHB facilitating a series of sessions such as National Energy Transition Roadmap, ISSB & Effective ESG Reporting and ESG Finance in FY2024.

In FY2024, we contributed a total of RM147,640 to the trade associations/organisations that we belong to. Most of this was in the form of membership fees.
